Thank you to the 250+ people who came out to celebrate
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel!
Celebrations started with Vespers Saturday night following the Vigil Mass.
The rain didn’t let us have the procession after Vespers but we were blessed with a beautiful double rainbow.
Followed by Hot Dogs and Hamburgers at the Parish Hall.
Sorry no pictures. The photographer was too busy eating the delicious food and visiting with everyone.
The celebration continued with Mass Sunday morning.
We couldn’t leave Our Lady ready for the procession so we had a procession with her after Mass.
The weather was great and the procession was beautiful.
After the procession and final blessing, we had a delicious meal, popcorn, cotton candy, laughter, and joy.
More fun and games followed. . . the ring toss was definitely a challenge.
The children were blessed by a $100 contribution by a generous parishioner from Tajique who bought 100 tickets to be given to all of the children.
The Cake Walk was a hit for young and old. Thanks to the donors of some delicious and beautiful cakes and treats!
The Cornhole Tournament was fun for many.
The Bingo outlasted everything!
Everything turned out to be a wonderful blessing to all who came.
It was beautiful to see everyone enjoying themselves.
Laughter and Joy were sweet music to hear.
It was wonderful to see people from all communities within our parish helping to make this possible.
Thank you to all of you!
