Thank you to the 200+ people who came to celebrate Sts. Peter and Paul!
We started with Vespers on Saturday night. The church and grounds were lit up with candles, farolitos, and luminarias.
The prayers were beautiful, followed by a procession with Sts. Peter and Paul, followed by Banners and parishioners representing churches and ministries from throughout the parish.
The following day was on to Fiesta Mass. We had a wonderful Choir. . .
and a great Homily by Fr. Angelo. If you missed it, or want to hear it again, click below.
Of course the HIGHLIGHT of it all is Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mass was followed by a procession with Sts. Peter and Paul, followed by Banners from our other churches and ministries, and the Matachines.
The Matachines also provided a performance in the Parish Hall.
After the performance, we all enjoyed a wonderful meal and conversations.
People caught up with old friends from neighboring communities and with people who came to celebrate our wonderful patron saints. Laughter and joy were in the air.
Following the meal everyone enjoyed games and entertainment. There were little kids games . . .
cake walk . . .
Ring Toss . . .
Bingo . . .
and Cornhole Tournament sponsored by the Knights of Columbus . . .
It was a wonderful time of celebrating and fun with help from parishioners from all four churches from our Parish.
Thank you to everyone who helped. It took a few communities working together to bring it all together.
What a wonderful blessing!
